The Duskfall: Source

19/03/04  ||  Lord K Philipson

You know the Gothenburg-sound I’m sure. Well, this is it.

Few things in the music-scene of Sweden bore me as much as the general Gothenburg-sound of today. Sure, I like In Flames, I’ve followed them and their evolution since the early 90’s so there’s a reason. Now we have the 10th wave of this genre coming and it’s getting fucken awful and downright ass. The Duskfall aren’t bad at what they do, it’s not that. They are just soooo fucken boring.

I’d rather trim my balls with hand grenades than to listen to this album again.

You have all heard it before. You know what it sounds like. There’s no meaning to go into details here. These guys aren’t even trying to do something the least original. They love their sound, and they love all the Soilworks’, In Flames’, Arch Enemys’ and Haunteds’ out there.

Personally, I’m all fine with The Haunted and In Flames alone.

The Duskfall, I puke on you. And the likes of you.

3/10
